Great start. How do I subscribe?

Jemnina, thanks for reading. You can subscribe to the blog by clicking on "Subscribe to: Posts (Atom)", which is below the latest entry. From there, you decide which reader you want the updates to go to. I personally use Google Reader, but there are others. Let me know if you still need help.

Below you will see my feedback.

Alternate Front Page Design:
1. stroke around flash piece - isn't consistent b/c there isn't a stroke on anything else on that page;
2. mustard box - to prominent, isn't one of the university colors, color of the words inside the box don't go well with the background;
3. black words & box - to prominent - there's no black anywhere else besides the bottom left hand corner.

Web Services Blogger:
1. I don't understand how to subscribe;
2. site doesn't have NCCU identity.

As a designer, I don't think this page is aesthetically pleasing. I would like to see an alternate design.

Chantal, your feedback is welcomed and greatly appreciated. I will encourage the team to review your comments and suggestions.

In as far as subscribing, what RSS Reader do you use? I use Google Reader and I simply copy and paste the following URL "http://nccuwebservices.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default" into the reader and VOILA!

I don't use any RSS Reader and I don't want to use my personal gmail for work related things.

Chantal, that is fine. MS Outlook also has an RSS feature. As I look at my mail folders, I see "RSS Feeds." If I were to right click on it, I can add a new feed. Simply copy and paste the URL of the RSS page and it should update.

I'm on a mac... so we use Entourage :-( I see RSS Feeds so I'll try to figure this thing out. Thanks.

Chantal, since Google Reader is such a great RSS interface, you can set up another Gmail account separate from your personal account to keep track of blog posts here. I've also used NewsGator and Bloglines as my feed reader with great success if you don't want to create a new Google account.

Re design of this blog and lack of NCCU identity, this is just a stock Blogger template and the easiest to put up first as a placeholder.

To the designers, I am just a local NCCU booster who came upon this blog by a Google search. Since I'm hear, I was going to comment that there are a great many broken links on the menu tabs when one drills down to various departments. Am I correct to assume these are being fixed with the rollout of the new pages?

Lastly, will the Office of Public Relations be establishing a RSS feed for their news releases?
